I got a late start today. Didn't really buckle down until after lunch. I prefer to write in the morning as I'm fresh and more creative. Plus, it's a terrific way to start the day - already having "gotten my words done."
But I had so much admin (translated: email, computer work, etc. etc. etc. - even cleaning) to do that the time disappeared.
Then after lunch, I almost went to the pool. But that nagging voice in my head wouldn't quit. It kept at me, "Get it done!" it kept saying. So, I did.
And I'm thrilled with the number 633 which was how many words I added to my total. Plus, there's no empty box on my calendar announcing that I didn't get any words written today. ☺
