I've been super busy with marketing HAWAII! Pineapple Peril. Consequently, my progress on a first draft of FLORIDA! has suffered.
But I think I'm back. There was quite a bit of avoidance going on this morning, including a half-done Fun Fact Trivia reel I wanted to post, pouring rain, exercises, chatting on the phone, and that ever-present task of email.
I persevered, however, and wrote 301 words. Not great, but not bad as it's the first day I've written since August 3. I'll take it as a win.
I find maps incredibly inspiring. Here's the US National Park Service map of the Everglades. I'm sorry it's not clearer, but I was unable to upload a PDF and had to settle for a JPEG.
